What to Watch for When NBA Free Agency Starts

The 2022 NBA Draft has come and gone already as it just seems like the NBA Finals ended. Now, we are already on the horizon of NBA Free Agency, which starts July 2nd. Let’s look at some of the top players who could be on the move via trades or the free agent market:

Kyrie Irving

It has been rumored that Kyrie has requested and been given the opportunity to look for a sign-and-trade deal to find him a new team. Another rumor is that Irving will opt out of his current deal and sign on a minimum deal to reunite with Lebron James in Los Angeles. Unless the Nets throws Irving a ton of money on a long deal it seems that he is on his way out of Brooklyn.

Miles Bridges

Bridges is another top free agent target after he averaged over 20 points per game last year and is one of the biggest and most athletic players in the league. It is rumored that if the Hornets don’t offer him a big maximum contract he could be on his way out to the team that can pay him what he wants.

John Wall

Wall is rumored to finally get his buyout from the Houston Rockets or get traded soon into free agency. The team with some current interest is the Los Angeles Clippers, who will reportedly be extremely interested to bid on him in free agency if he is indeed bought out among some other teams.
