Through 15 weeks of NFL action we should have a clearer picture of who is a legit Super Bowl contender and who isn’t. A lot of teams have dropped off that were competitive earlier in the year and some teams have stepped it up lately. Let’s look at who should be a legit contender to win it all this season.

NFC Contenders

The NFC Super Bowl contending teams begin with the Philadelphia Eagles. They have just one loss on the season and look dominant on both sides of the ball. They were said to be a running team but Jalen Hurts has proved that he is a serious threat passing as well. There are few holes with this team and it looks like they can beat anyone. The other top team in the NFC looks to the be the 49ers. With so many weapons on offense and one of the best defenses in the NFL, they are hard to beat. They just need to get healthy and hope Brock Purdy can keep this up or Jimmy G can come back for the playoffs. Besides those two teams the distant third would be the Cowboys followed by Minnesota and Tampa Bay.

AFC Contenders

The AFC is led by the Bills and the Chiefs as it has been for the past few years. Both of these teams look like very legit Super Bowl contenders. They both have great offenses with the edge on offense going to Kansas City but the Bills have a better defense. Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen can carry their team to the Super Bowl undoubtedly. The other team to watch is the Bengals, who made it to the Super Bowl last year and are now playing good football after a slow start. Besides these three teams, the Dolphins and Chargers could get hot in the playoffs and make a run, assuming they make it to the postseason.
