The Golden State Warriors have been the favorites of many to win the NBA Finals this year. They cruised into the second round to face the Memphis Grizzlies and many people thought it would be a blowout series win for the Warriors. That hasn’t been the case so far as Memphis nearly won game one and then actually pulled off the upset in game two.
Games three and four will go back to Golden State though and the Warriors have already stolen one on the road. Expect the Warriors to take both games at home to take a 3-1 lead. Both Klay and Steph were terrible in game two, yet they still were in it until the very end of the game. Ja Morant needed 47 points to will this team to a win.
The Grizzlies are not offering much help to Morant so far in this series. Desmond Bane is clearly dealing with and injury and Jaren Jackson had a breakout 33-point game followed by just 12. He will need more help on the road in Golden State.
If the Grizzlies do end up losing both road games in games three and four, they will be on the ropes back in Memphis. Expect Golden State to complete the four to one series if they go back to Memphis up 3-1.
